US Forest Service Plants Native Trees for Monarchs at Plaskett Creek Campground!
By Emma Pelton on 2 December 2020
The US Forest Service, in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Xerces, just planted 40 native trees to help restore Plaskett Creek Campground for overwintering monarchs. A fire crew, still on-site for the smoldering Dolan wildfire which came within miles of this site, pitched in to make the planting happen.
