This is a two-day training event. The workshop will cover standardized overwintering monarch counting and overwintering site habitat assessment protocol used by the Western Monarch Thanksgiving Count, a variety of monarch butterfly citizen science programs, and will encourage collaboration among monarch butterfly enthusiasts and biologists for long-term monitoring efforts in California.
